Matthew 26:36-46

Jesus fulfilled His mission as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. He chose to follow the Father's will and laid His life down on the altar of the cross so that we can be forgiven and washed clean from our sins. Death on the cross brought forgiveness, but the resurrection brought eternal life.
